Toyota offers two exterior colours: Precious White Pearl and Attitude Black. Inside, the GR-S variant sports a black and dark red theme while the ZX offers neutral beige or black options. The GR-S also features black exterior accents and new black alloy wheels.

The ZX variant now boasts connected car technology and a digital instrument cluster among other new features. The GR-S variant adds a limited-slip differential at the rear along with front and rear diff locks for enhanced off-road capabilities. Additional off-road technologies in the GR-S include crawl control, hill-start assist, descent assist, terrain modes, a four-camera off-road monitoring system, and active traction control.
