2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition Launched - Revised Styling & More Tech
Japanese carmaker Toyota has introduced the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition in India, bringing sharper styling and feature enhancements to its popular SUV. The refreshed Toyota Fortuner Leader edition builds on the 2024 model with visual upgrades and interior refinements while retaining its proven diesel powertrain.
The new Fortuner Leader Edition continues with the 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 201bhp and up to 500Nm of torque. It is available in 4x2 manual and automatic variants, offering the same balance of strong performance and long-distance comfort.
The SUV continues with its rear-wheel-drive (4x2) setup, paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Toyota says the configuration ensures smooth power delivery and stability while maintaining the Fortuner's reputation for reliability and versatility.
The exterior of the 2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition receives a redesigned grille, sporty front and rear spoilers, and chrome detailing that accentuate its broad stance. A dual-tone black roof, glossy black alloy wheels, and a signature hood emblem.
Inside, the 2025 Fortuner Leader's cabin adopts black and maroon dual-tone upholstery with matching door trims. New convenience and safety features include auto-folding mirrors, illuminated scuff plates, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The new Fortuner Leader Edition comes with five years of roadside assistance, a three-year/100,000km warranty extendable to five years/220,000km, and access to the Toyota Smiles Plus service package.
With over three lakh units sold since its debut, the Fortuner remains a dominant force in India's SUV market. The 2025 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition adds visual freshness and premium detailing to the SUV long known for durability and a commanding road presence.
