2025 Tata Tigor Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 6 Lakh
The 2025 Tata Tigor has been launched with a starting price of Rs 6 lakh. This update introduces minor design tweaks and new features, while keeping the overall shape intact. The facelifted model will be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This refresh comes after the Hyundai Aura's update and follows the last Tigor update in 2020.
2025 Tata Tigor Design
In terms of design, the front grille and bumper have received subtle changes, with a redesigned rear bumper as well. The coupe-like design language and 15-inch alloy wheels remain unchanged. Despite these minor cosmetic updates, the Tigor's feature list has seen significant enhancements.

2025 Tata Tigor Features
The base XE trim now includes a smart steering wheel with illumination, a fully digital instrument cluster, new fabric seats, ISOFIX child seat anchors, rear parking sensors, and LED tail lights. Meanwhile, the top-tier XZ Plus Lux variant boasts a 10.25-inch floating infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree camera, shark fin antenna, automatic temperature control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and cruise control.
2025 Tata Tigor Powertrain
Despite these updates in design and features, Tata has not made any changes to the Tigor's specifications. It continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a five-speed manual or an automated manual transmission. The petrol variants deliver 85 bhp and 113 Nm of torque, while the CNG variants produce 72 bhp and 95 Nm of torque.
2025 Tata Tigor Pricing & Variants
The pricing structure for the Tigor has also been revised. The previous base variant XE has been discontinued; now the range starts with the XM variant priced at ₹6 lakh ex-showroom. Notably, this is lower than the previous XM variant's price of ₹6.60 lakh. A new top-end variant called XZ Plus Lux is introduced at ₹8.50 lakh.
The XZ Plus variant now costs Rs 7.90 lakh, which is an increase of Rs 10,000 from its predecessor. For CNG options, two new trims have been added: XT priced at Rs 7.70 lakh replacing XM as the base trim; XZ Plus Lux at Rs 9.50 lakh; and XZ Plus at Rs 8.90 lakh. (All prices in ex-showroom.)
