2025 Subaru Forester Recognised As Best Crossover By Parents For Safety And Versatility
The 2025 Subaru Forester has been recognised as the Best Crossover in the 2025 PARENTS Best Family Cars Awards. This accolade highlights its safety, versatility, and value. The awards celebrate vehicles with advanced performance, safety, and convenience features tailored for family needs. Categories include minivans, SUVs, electric cars, and sedans.
Subaru of America, Inc. announced this achievement for the sixth-generation Forester, which starts at $29,995 MSRP. The PARENTS panel evaluated over 180 vehicles that excelled in industry safety tests. More than 20 models met test drive standards and car seat compatibility requirements to ensure family safety and efficiency.

The 2025 Subaru Forester was also named a TOP SAFETY PICK+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is their highest recognition. It comes equipped with standard safety features like EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with Lane Centering.
Additional active safety options include Reverse Automatic Braking and Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist. Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Emergency Stop Assist are also available. All models feature Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System for improved control.
The interior of the 2025 Forester has been updated to be quieter due to enhanced sound-absorbing materials and structural adhesives. These improvements result in a 39% reduction in noise from the roof panel. Textured trim accents are designed to endure daily wear and tear.
A dark headliner helps conceal scuffs from loading gear or pets into the spacious rear seat area. Behind these seats, the Forester offers up to 29.6 cubic feet of cargo space. Folding down the rear seats increases capacity to 74.4 cubic feet.
