The 2025 Nissan Armada has been recognised as the Best-In-Class Full-Size SUV by the New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA) Winter Vehicle Awards. This accolade highlights its rugged capabilities, safety features, and year-round versatility. Redesigned to excel in various conditions, the Armada impressed judges with its bold design, powerful twin-turbo V6 engine, and winter-ready technologies.
NEMPA is unique in conducting formal cold-weather testing. Vehicles eligible for their awards undergo rigorous assessments during New England's harsh winter months. Judges focus on performance, safety, and suitability for cold-weather driving. The 2025 Armada offers a range of safety and driver-assist technologies like Nissan Safety Shield 360, Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.
Clifford Atiyeh, president of NEMPA, praised the Armada's performance: "What a vehicle. The refinement and rush of torque from the turbocharged V6, paired with a quick-shifting transmission and an expertly tuned air suspension that eliminates body lean, is only the start of the Armada's many accolades." He also noted improvements in interior quality, especially in the Platinum Reserve model.
