Underneath its stylish exterior, the Outlander benefits from a recalibrated power steering system for improved precision. Additionally, the suspension has been retuned with updated springs, shock absorbers, and stabilizer bars to enhance driving confidence.

The interior of the Outlander has been upgraded with luxurious materials and soundproofing enhancements. These changes result in a reduction of over 0.5dB in road noise and nearly 6dB in overall sound isolation compared to the previous model.

The vehicle comes equipped with a Yamaha audio system that elevates the in-car entertainment experience. Standard features include three rows of seating for up to seven passengers, full LED lighting inside and out, a frameless auto-dimming mirror, a 12.3" navigation screen with HD Traffic Information, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, USB-C power ports, multi-zone automatic climate control, and comprehensive safety features.

All models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a constant velocity transmission (CVT) featuring an eight-speed sport mode. The emphasis is on refinement and enhancing both driver and passenger experiences.

Warranty Coverage

Mitsubishi offers one of the industry's leading warranties for every 2025 vehicle: a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty; a 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty; a 7-year/100,000-mile anti-corrosion/perforation limited warranty; and a 5-year/unlimited mileage roadside assistance program.

Mark Chaffin, MMNA president and CEO stated: "The new 2025 Outlander is bold, powerful, strong, and stands out on the road while delivering the value that customers expect from Mitsubishi Motors."

Mitsubishi's Future Plans

MMNA is responsible for sales and marketing across approximately 330 dealer partners in the U.S., with headquarters in Franklin, Tennessee. Their five-year business plan "Momentum 2030" aims to expand their vehicle lineup by introducing one new or refreshed model each year until 2030.

This plan includes modernizing retail sales models as well as expanding networks to drive growth. The product line will nearly double from today's four vehicles by incorporating advanced-technology internal combustion engines along with hybrids and battery electrics.

The Outlander has consistently broken U.S. sales records since its redesign in 2021. It achieved its best-ever annual sales performance in the U.S. in 2024.
