2025 Lexus RC And RC F Final Edition Offers Enhanced Performance And Exclusive Features
Lexus will discontinue the RC and RC F models at the end of this year. After a decade on the market, these models have sold over 90,000 units in 62 countries. The final editions will be available in dealerships early this year, offering enthusiasts a last chance to experience their performance and elegance.
The RC 300 features a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with direct injection, producing 241 horsepower. It generates 258 lb.-ft. of torque between 1,650 and 4,400 rpm. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. The RC 300 AWD variant uses a six-speed automatic transmission with a 3.5-litre V6 engine, delivering 260 horsepower.
The RC 350 models are equipped with a 3.5-litre V6 engine that produces 311 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm. The rear-wheel-drive version has an eight-speed transmission, while the all-wheel-drive model uses a six-speed automatic transmission. The RC F SPORT RWD models now feature red brake calipers for the new model year.
The high-performance RC F arrives as a mono spec special edition for its final year. It builds on last year's Carbon Package with mechanical and aesthetic upgrades. It features a naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 472 horsepower, coupled with an eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission for optimal performance.
The RC F Final Edition includes triple-beam LED headlamps, carbon fibre elements like the roof and side panels, and lightweight BBS alloy wheels with red brake calipers. Inside, it boasts black and red leather/Ultrasuede trim, a Mark Levinson audio system, and digital instrumentation displaying various metrics.
Safety Features: Lexus Safety System+ 2.5
The Lexus Safety System+ 2.5 enhances safety in the RC and RC F models for 2025. This suite includes features like Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection to alert drivers to potential collisions and may automatically apply brakes if necessary.
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control maintains distance from vehicles ahead from highway speeds to stops, adapting to traffic conditions seamlessly. Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist helps keep the vehicle centred by alerting drivers to lane departures.
Additional Safety Technologies
Lane Tracing Assist works alongside Dynamic Radar Cruise Control to help centre the vehicle within its lane for improved stability during drives. Road Sign Assist recognises certain road signs and displays them on the vehicle’s screen for driver awareness.
Automatic High Beams adjust between high and low beams based on surrounding conditions to enhance nighttime visibility without causing glare to other drivers. These advanced safety features reflect Lexus's dedication to providing secure driving experiences.
The RC F Final Edition offers four exterior colours: Incognito, Radiant Red, Sonic Iridium, and Ultra White. Its active rear wing adds both style and function to this striking coupe's design.
