Explore The Features Of The 2025 Lexus LX 700h: A Luxury Hybrid SUV For On- And Off-Road Adventures
The 2025 Lexus LX has been unveiled, offering a blend of luxury and performance. This flagship SUV now includes a hybrid powertrain option with the LX 700h model. The lineup features five grades: Premium, F SPORT Handling, Luxury, Ultra Luxury, and the new Overtrail. Prices start at $106,850, including delivery fees.
The LX 700h introduces a hybrid system to the lineup, powered by a 3.4L twin-turbo V6 engine. This setup delivers 457 horsepower and 583 lb.-ft of torque. It also offers an improved fuel economy of 20 MPG combined. The hybrid system includes a nickel-metal hydride battery located under the luggage compartment or third-row seat.

The LX 600 is equipped with a 3.4-liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine producing 409 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft of torque. Both models feature a 10-speed Direct Shift Automatic Transmission for smooth acceleration and enhanced driving dynamics.
The Overtrail grade enhances off-road capabilities with features like front and rear locking differentials, a skid plate, and all-terrain tires. It also includes unique styling elements such as Earth exterior color options and semi-aniline leather interiors. These additions aim to inspire outdoor exploration through the Lexus Overtrail Project.
Standard across all models are Active Height Control (AHC) and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), ensuring balance between off-road drivability and on-road stability. Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) allows drivers to switch between modes for optimized performance in various conditions.
Advanced Safety Features
Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is now standard on all models, featuring Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and more. These systems enhance safety by providing warnings and automatic interventions in critical situations.
Additional safety technologies include Front Cross-Traffic Alert to warn of crossing vehicles or cyclists at intersections, and Safe Exit Alert to prevent door openings when vehicles approach from behind.
Interior Comforts and Technology
The interior of the LX offers luxurious features such as massage options for front seats with semi-aniline leather trim. A standard 12.3-inch touchscreen provides easy access to controls and information while supporting wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility.
The Ultra Luxury grade focuses on rear passenger comfort with exclusive seating designs that absorb vibrations even during off-road driving. Rear passengers can control audio, climate, seat adjustments, and lighting through a central panel.
Design Enhancements
The design philosophy "Dignified Sophistication" guides the aesthetic of the LX series. The vehicle features a cab-backward design with dynamic lines running through its profile. A spindle grille with floating bars ensures high cooling performance for the engine.
Exterior color options include Eminent White Pearl*, Atomic Silver, Manganese Luster*, Nori Green Pearl, Caviar, Ultra White, and Earth (*additional charge applies). Interior choices vary by grade but offer premium materials like Black Open-Pore Wood or Takanoha Wood finishes.
Technological Innovations
The Lexus Interface integrates cloud navigation for real-time updates using Google POI data while offering offline mode capabilities when signals are weak. Intelligent Assistant allows voice commands for navigation or climate control via "Hey Lexus."
Remote Connect enables users to manage vehicle functions remotely through an app subscription service that includes trials up to three years long depending on feature availability.
The assembly of the 2025 LX lineup takes place at Toyota Auto Body Yoshiwara plant in Japan before arriving at dealerships early next year worldwide.
