2025 Honda Civic, Accord, Passport And Odyssey Earn Best Cars For Money Awards From U.S. News
The 2025 Honda Civic, Accord, Passport, and Odyssey have been recognised by U.S. News & World Report in their latest "Best Car for the Money" awards. The Civic was named the top compact car, while the Accord took the award in the midsize category. The Passport excelled in the 2-row SUV class, and the Odyssey was honoured as the best minivan.
Honda has consistently demonstrated excellence, securing four awards across different segments. The Odyssey has maintained its position as the Best Minivan for five consecutive years. The Civic, Passport, and Accord have also been previous winners in their respective categories multiple times. This highlights Honda’s dedication to affordable ownership, high safety standards, and excellent fuel efficiency.

The "Best Cars for the Money" awards evaluate both quality and value to determine winners. Quality is assessed based on a vehicle's overall score in U.S. News rankings at publication time. These rankings are updated monthly and consider safety, reliability, and expert opinions. Value is calculated from a vehicle's five-year total cost of ownership and average purchase price at award time.
Honda offers a diverse range of vehicles through over 1,000 independent U.S. dealers. Their lineup includes popular models like the Civic and Accord along with SUVs such as HR-V, CR-V, Passport, Prologue, and Pilot. The Ridgeline pickup and Odyssey minivan are also part of this award-winning lineup.
Focus on Electrification
In 2024, more than 25% of Honda's sales were from electrified vehicles. This includes models like the all-electric Prologue SUV and hybrid versions of the Accord, CR-V, and Civic. Additionally, a hybrid Prelude is expected to join by late 2025. Honda continues to expand its electrified offerings to meet growing demand.
Honda has been manufacturing cars in America for over four decades with 18 major facilities across North America. In 2024 alone, over 99% of Honda vehicles sold in the U.S. were produced in North America using both domestic and global parts.
The recognition from U.S. News & World Report underscores Honda's commitment to delivering quality vehicles that offer great value to consumers worldwide.
