Experience High-Speed Thrills At The 2025 Formula DRIFT Media Demo Day And Press Conference
Media representatives are invited to experience thrilling high-speed demo runs with FD PRO drivers on the Streets of Long Beach course. Attendees will have the chance to interview top contenders, view new cars, and participate in a driver press conference. The 2025 Formula DRIFT season begins in four weeks, opening on April 4-5 at the Long Beach circuit.
The 2025 Formula DRIFT Media Day is scheduled for April 1. Accredited media can experience 1200hp competition cars from the passenger seat. This event is no joke; registration is required to attend and receive a safety briefing before riding. Registered media will get details on parking, itinerary, designated driver, and more.
Media attendees are invited to join leading drivers for a press conference and interview opportunity. Participants will include Formula DRIFT Champions and new inductees preparing for the 2025 title battle. Working media interested in participating should respond to [email protected].
Multiple demo sessions will occur during the afternoon, ensuring attendees get sufficient seat time, subject to availability. Participating drivers include Fredric Aasbo, Odi Bakchis, James Deane, Matt Field, Ken Gushi, Andy Hateley, Ben Hobson, Dylan Hughes, Jeff Jones, Adam LZ, Hiroya Minowa, Daigo Saito, Branden Sorensen, and Ryan Tuerck.
For safety reasons, long pants and closed-toe shoes are mandatory for all working media. Attending the safety briefing is necessary before riding. Crash helmets and liners will be provided; however, media may bring their own helmet if preferred.
Entry into competition cars is limited by rollcages, tight seats, and safety harnesses—passengers must fit safely to ride. Cameras cannot be mounted outside the car but can be held by passengers. Limited spots are available; RSVP promptly to secure a place.
