2025 BMW 3 Series LWB Diesel Launched At Rs 62 Lakh

The 2025 BMW 3 Series LWB, initially launched in February with a petrol engine, now includes a diesel variant. The starting price for the diesel model is Rs. 62 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition broadens the options for buyers interested in this luxury sedan.

The diesel version of the BMW 3 Series LWB is available in two trims: the 320Ld M Sport and the 320Ld M Sport Pro. The former is priced at Rs. 62 lakh, while the latter costs Rs. 65 lakh, both ex-showroom. The diesel engine delivers 187.6bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It achieves a top speed of 230 kmph and accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in just 7.6 seconds.

The petrol variant, known as the 320Li M Sport, starts at Rs. 62.60 lakh (ex-showroom). It boasts a more powerful engine with an output of 254.6bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. This version reaches a top speed of 250 kmph and accelerates from zero to 100 kmph in only 6.2 seconds, also using an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

For fuel efficiency, the diesel variant claims an impressive mileage of 19.6kmpl, while the petrol version offers a fuel economy of approximately 15.3kmpl. Both variants share a tank capacity of 59 litres.

Exterior and Interior Features

The exterior design of the BMW 3 Series LWB for the year includes adaptive LED projector headlights and retains classic elements like the chrome-finished kidney grille and gloss-black rear diffuser. Customers can choose from four exterior colours: Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, M Carbon Black, and Arctic Race Blue.

Inside, there are redesigned AC vents but the dashboard layout remains largely unchanged from previous models. The interior features Vernasca Cognac leatherette seat upholstery and an M Sport leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Tech amenities include integrated curved displays—a digital driver's display measuring 12.3 inches and a touchscreen spanning 14.9 inches—alongside a Harman Kardon sound system with sixteen speakers. The car also comes equipped with three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging capabilities, and a panoramic sunroof for added luxury and convenience.

Safety features have been enhanced with an updated ADAS suite that includes six airbags, dynamic stability control (DSC), and park assist functionality to ensure driver safety on every journey.
