Maruti Suzuki Tour S Vs Dzire: Top Differences You Should Know
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Tour S, a commercial vehicle based on the fourth-generation Dzire. Priced at ₹6.79 lakh (ex-showroom), it targets commercial buyers.
The Tour S shares its design with the 2024 Dzire but offers additional features tailored for commercial use. This move marks a strategic shift as Maruti initially planned to sell the new Dzire only to private customers and here is a quick comparison between the new Tour S and Dzire.

Design & Colour Options
The Tour S mirrors the 2024 Dzire's design, featuring a black grille, black door handles, and 14-inch steel rims. It also includes a shark fin antenna and a black strip on the boot lid. Available in Arctic White, Splendid Silver, and Bluish Black, it contrasts with the Dzire LXi's six colour options, which include Nutmeg Brown and Gallant Red.
Engine & Performance
Both vehicles are powered by a 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine from the Maruti Suzuki Swift. This engine delivers 80 bhp and 111 Nm of torque in petrol mode. The Tour S also offers a CNG variant producing 69 bhp and 101.8 Nm of torque. Fuel efficiency is rated at 26.06 kmpl for petrol and 34.30 km/kg for CNG.

Interior Features
The cabin layout of both models is identical, featuring power windows, projector headlamps, LED taillights, and a shark-fin antenna. They also have a monotone multi-information display (MID), adjustable front headrests, and tilt-adjustable steering. The interior sports a black and beige theme with practical features like rear defoggers.
Pricing Details
The base price for the Dzire LXi starts at ₹6.84 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the Tour S begins at ₹6.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for its petrol version and goes up to ₹7.74 lakh for the CNG variant (ex-showroom). These prices reflect Maruti's competitive positioning in India's commercial vehicle market.

DriveSpark Thinks
The introduction of the Tour S highlights Maruti Suzuki's strategy to cater to both private and commercial sectors effectively. By offering similar designs with distinct features tailored for different audiences, Maruti aims to strengthen its presence in India's automotive landscape.
