Zenvo Automotive To Spotlight With Aurora Hypercars At Salon Privé

Zenvo Automotive is set to be a major attraction at Salon Privé later this month. The Danish hypercar brand will debut its radical Aurora models at Blenheim Palace. This will be only the second public showing of the Aurora Agil and Tur editions, following their European debut a few weeks ago.

Salon Privé 2024 will take place from 28-31 August at Blenheim Palace, marking its 19th year. Known as ‘The UK’s most exclusive automotive garden party,’ the event promises to showcase some of the finest cars in the world. Tickets are available on the official website.

The all-new Aurora represents Zenvo Automotive’s second chapter, featuring a ground-up design that promises uncompromised performance. Chairman and CCO Jens Sverdrup describes it as an "equilibrium of extremes." He stated, "We just wanted to build an uncompromised driver’s car, which delivered on every level. It was approached in a very Danish way, meaning every part is carefully considered, and we wanted to introduce this style and design philosophy to the hypercar segment."

The Aurora is Zenvo's lightest and most powerful car ever built. It boasts carbon fibre bodywork and Formula 1-derived technology. The bespoke powertrain includes a 6.6-litre quad-turbo V12 hybrid engine producing 1,450bhp in the RWD Agil version. Developed by MAHLE Powertrain in Northampton, UK, this V12 can rev up to 9,800rpm.

The 4WD Tur model features a triple electric motor system that adds an extra 600hp, resulting in a total output of 1,850bhp. Zenvo Automotive claims this setup offers naturally aspirated engine-style throttle response with instant power and torque. This powertrain is also notable for being the most powerful V12 engine ever fitted to a road car.

The ZM1 modular monocoque design of the Aurora draws inspiration from Formula 1 principles. This design aims to provide both comfort and track focus without compromise. It allows Zenvo to offer two distinct driving experiences: the elegant Tur or the aggressively-styled Agil.
