Year Ender 2024 - Top 5 Cars We Drove This Year
The year 2024 is ending. It's time to look back at a year full of new cars that changed the game or brought about upheaval in their segments, changing the way you and I travel around on four wheels.
So as the year 2024 draws to a close, let's take a look at the top 5 cars that we reviewed this year as another year of new cars beckons...

5) 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift
The new generation of the beloved Swift brought with it a brand new engine which not only lost a cylinder but also quite a bit of power. So how did that along with the other revisions end up changing the Swift?

4) Mahindra Thar Roxx
Mahindra's Thar has been the darling of the off-roading community in India ever since it first went off the beaten path in 2010. Now the second-gen Thar has sprouted a set of doors on its sides and got a new nameplate - Thar Roxx.
So how is the family-friendly Mahindra Thar Roxx when the tarmac turns to dirt? Read our review here or get the details in the review video below to get your answers.
3) Mahindra BE 6
Mahindra's first EV from its "Born Electric" brand will only hit the roads by March 2025. However, from our time behind the wheel of this electric SUV coupe, we wouldn't be surprised if Mahindra managed to ignite the Indian EV market into overdrive.
The Mahindra BE 6 looks like nothing else on the road and has enough range and gizmos to keep you entertained even on long journeys. It also has the oomph to make that trip blisteringly quick on both the straights and turns. 2) Tata Altroz Racer
If you thought that the time of hot (or at least slightly warm and toasty) hatchbacks in India was over then the Tata Altroz Racer must have come as a rather big shock to you. Tata took the turbocharged engine from the Nexon and dropped in under the bonnet of the Altroz to create the Racer which also benefits from steering and suspension tweaks.

1) 2024 Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta finally got the upgrade that we've all been clamouring for ever since the second-gen Creta first appeared on our roads and the SUV for 2024 and beyond looks a lot bolder than its predecessor. The changes to the Creta are more than skin deep though with the SUV gaining a new engine and ADAS among other upgrades.
And with pricing as aggressive as ever and a new N Line version also on sale and an electric variant around the corner, the Creta continues its journey of turning India into SUV country. Click here for our written review or watch the video below for more details.
