Xiaomi SU7 Electric Sedan Variant-Wise Details: Top-Spec Model Features 800V Architecture

Xiaomi has showcased the new SU7 electric sedan in India as part of the 10th-anniversary celebration of the brand in the country. The model was surrounded by a lot of excitement, which was to be expected as it was one of the longest-awaited electric cars in India.

In China, the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan is already on sale and it is available in 3 variants and 9 shades. However, in India, only 2 variants of the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedans were highlighted - SU7, and SU7 Max.

Xiaomi SU7

The base version of the Xiaomi SU7 is equipped with a 73.6kWh battery pack, which is good for a range of 700km. This model is powered by a 295bhp electric motor, which helps the model accelerate to 100km/h in just 5.28 seconds and attain a top speed of 210km/h.

In terms of charging, Xiaomi claims that the base model of the SU7 electric sedan can add 350km of range in just 15 minutes. Moreover, the base model uses a 400V architecture, unlike the 800v architecture in the top-spec model.

Xiaomi SU7 Max

The top-spec Xiaomi SU7 Max features a much bigger 101kWh battery pack, and features AWD layout. The total power out of this variant is rated as 663bhp, and helps the model accelerate to 100km/h in just 2.78 seconds and reach a top speed of 265km/h.

It is also worth mentioning that the Xiaomi SU7 Max's range stands at 800km and the model can also add 510km of range in 15 minutes, thanks to its 800V architecture.

Price

At the time of launch, the base variant of the Xiaomi SU7 was priced at 2,15,900 Yuan (Rs 25.34 lakh), whereas the top-spec SU7 Max is priced at 2,99,900 Yuan (Rs 35.20 lakh). That being said, the Chinese market also features SU7 Pro variant (mid-spec), and it is priced at 2,45,900 Yuan (Rs 28.87 Lakh).

The Xiaomi SU7 Pro variant can be considered the long-range model with its bigger 94.3kWh. Thanks to its larger battery pack, the model can go as far as 830km. Though the top speed remains the same as the base model, the 0-100km/h sprint now takes 5.7 seconds.
