Xiaomi Showcased SU7 Luxury EV Sedan: Marking Their 10th Anniversary
Xiaomi, a global technology leader, has unveiled the Xiaomi SU7 in India to mark its 10-year anniversary. This event highlights's vision for an interconnected future where user needs are seamlessly met within one smart ecosystem.
The Xiaomi SU7, the first product from Xiaomi EV, is described as a "full-size high performance eco-technology sedan." It integrates advanced performance features and ecosystem connectivity. The vehicle showcases five core EV technologies: E-Motor, CTB Integrated Battery, Xiaomi Die-Casting, Xiaomi Pilot Autonomous Driving, and Smart Cabin.
Xiaomi SU7: Performance and Specifications
The showcased Xiaomi SU7 Max boasts 673 ps of power and can travel up to 800 km on a single charge. With 838 nm of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.78 seconds and reaches a top speed of 265 km/h. Its braking system allows it to stop from 100 km/h within 33.3 metres.
Safety is paramount in the Xiaomi SU7, featuring a steel-aluminum alloy armored cage and 16 active safety features that offer comprehensive protection. These elements ensure the vehicle provides a secure driving experience with 360° coverage.
Design and Interior Features
The Xiaomi SU7 exemplifies luxury with its ergonomically crafted design and advanced technology. It maintains harmonious proportions through its golden ratio design. Inside, the vehicle offers precision and comfort with symmetrically aligned components like the steering wheel, seats, instrument panel, and HUD around the central axis.
The interior includes a 16.1-inch 3K ultra-clear central control screen, a large 56-inch HUD, and a rotating dashboard that creates a welcoming ceremony each time the car starts. Additionally, it supports connecting Xiaomi tablets as extra screens for a five-screen linkage within the car.
Despite being showcased in India, the Xiaomi SU7 is not available for sale in the Indian market. This presentation serves to demonstrate Xiaomi's innovative approach to integrating smart technology into everyday life.
