Women's Worldwide Car Of The Year Newsletter: A New Guide For Women Drivers

Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY) has launched a monthly newsletter aimed at guiding drivers, whether they are solo drivers, families on the go, or anything in between. The WWCOTY juries, who share the same driving needs as their readers, will provide expert car reviews, news, insightful trends, and future perspectives for women drivers.

The WWCOTY Newsletter is designed as a communication platform for car enthusiasts, particularly focusing on how women perceive automobiles. The team of female experts will offer information on the latest market trends, with special attention to what might interest female drivers. Additionally, the newsletter will include travel planning tips and inspirational stories from women in the motor industry.

WWCOTY Newsletter Launch

Each edition will feature personal insights from one of the WWCOTY jurors on a specific car model. This initiative aims to inspire a new generation of women to see the automotive industry as an inclusive space for them. Opportunities abound for women in various roles within the industry, from engineering advanced technology to designing future mobility solutions.

Beyond identifying the best cars of the year, WWCOTY aims to inspire and empower women in the automotive sector. The newsletter seeks to be a platform where car manufacturers can understand what women want and value in terms of mobility. This initiative underscores WWCOTY's commitment to making women's voices heard globally in the automotive world.

About Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year

Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year is unique as it is comprised exclusively of women motoring journalists. Founded by New Zealand motoring journalist Sandy Myhre in 2009, who serves as Honorary President, with Marta García as Executive President, this award recognises the best cars of the year based on criteria that guide any driver when choosing a vehicle.

The voting criteria include aspects such as safety, quality, price, design, ease of driving, benefits, and environmental footprint. The jurors do not select a ‘woman’s car’ because cars are not gender-specific. Instead, they focus on recognising vehicles that meet universal standards while also giving visibility to women in the automotive world.

WWCOTY's mission extends beyond awards; it aims to contribute to making women's voices heard across all continents. Mobility for women means access to numerous personal and professional opportunities. For more information or to subscribe to the newsletter, visit wwcoty.net or contact [email protected].
