2025 Jeep Gladiator Introduces Enhanced Off-Road Features And Electrification
The Jeep Gladiator is crafted to be the most capable off-road truck in its lineup, drawing from a legacy of robust Jeep pickups. It combines rugged utility with authentic design and open-air freedom. Available in models like Sport, Willys, and Mojave, it features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine delivering 285 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque.
For 2025, the Gladiator introduces new features such as an eight-speed automatic transmission and power windows. New exterior paint options include Fathom Blue and military-inspired '41. Active Cabin Ventilation, accessible via the Jeep Connect app, allows pre-conditioning of the vehicle's interior.

The Gladiator excels in off-road capability with a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds and a payload of up to 1,725 pounds. Its body-on-frame design includes a five-link suspension system and lightweight aluminum closures to enhance fuel efficiency.
Inside, the Gladiator offers a refined experience with standard side-curtain airbags for both rows and adaptive cruise control on higher trims. The Uconnect 5 system boasts a best-in-class 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety is prioritized with over 85 advanced features available. These include standard side-curtain airbags for both rows and advanced cruise control with stop functionality on Sport S models and above.
The Gladiator's Trail Rated or Desert Rated badges signify its impressive specifications like Dana 44 heavy-duty axles, traction control, tow hooks, four-wheel disc brakes, and skid plates. It also offers four advanced 4x4 systems for varied terrains.
Model Variants
The Gladiator lineup for 2025 includes eight models: Sport, Sport S, NightHawk, Willys, Mojave, Mojave X, Rubicon, and Rubicon X. Each model offers unique features tailored for different off-road experiences.
The Mojave model earns its Desert Rated badge through rigorous testing in ride control, stability, traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, and desert prowess. It features FOX shocks and bumpers designed for high-speed sand runs.
Interior Comforts
The interior is enhanced with available 12-way power-adjustable front seats alongside the Uconnect system's large touchscreen interface. The steel cargo bed is reinforced with cross-members for durability while offering integrated tie-downs and optional external power sources.
An electrified variant will join the lineup by the end of 2025 as part of Jeep's commitment to offering electric options across all vehicles sold in North America.
Exterior Design
The iconic exterior includes a seven-slot grille and trail-ready stealth antenna integrated into the windshield. It remains the only pickup offering open-air freedom with removable doors and roof choices.
The Jeep brand continues to build on over 80 years of heritage by providing vehicles that offer safety and versatility for adventurous journeys. By 2025, all Jeep models in North America will have an electrified option as part of their global electrification initiative.
