Volvo is preparing to launch the all-new EX60 electric SUV in 2026. This model will the electric counterpart to the popular XC60 SUV, which has been a best-seller for the Swedish automaker. The EX60 will be built on a new, highly scalable platform featuring advanced computing technology.
The Volvo EX60 will match the XC60 in size and incorporate design elements from the smaller EX30 and the updated XC90 SUV. The vehicle will utilise Volvo's SPA3 flexible platform, an upgraded version of SPA2 used in the EX90 flagship model. This platform includes Volvo Cars Superset technology stack, which manages both hardware and software functions.
Advanced Manufacturing Techniques

Currently, Volvo offers the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge electric vehicles in India. However, the brand has yet to introduce its new EX line-up of electric SUVs in this market.
