The guide offers practical advice for dog owners planning campervan trips. It includes tips on packing essentials like a lead, seatbelt harness, dog bed, towel, portable water bowl, food, and toys. Ensuring dogs are comfortable and secure during travel is emphasised, with recommendations for using seatbelt harnesses or crates.
Volkswagen's guide also highlights lesser-known dog-friendly destinations perfect for summer exploration. It encourages frequent rest breaks and hydration stops to keep pets comfortable. The guide aims to make travelling with pets easier and more enjoyable for families.
Volkswagen campervans are ideal for these adventures due to their spacious and adaptable interiors. The Volkswagen California 6.1 features a fully-fitted kitchen and can comfortably sleep four people.
