Volkswagen India Introduces Virtus GT Line, GT Plus Sport, and Taigun Highline Plus With Exciting New Features
Today, Volkswagen India introduced two new additions to their lineup, the Virtus GT Line and Virtus GT Plus Sport, alongside updates across other models, showcasing their commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. These new offerings embody the aspirations of customers seeking stylish, feature-rich vehicles.
The Virtus GT Line starts at INR 14.07 lakh, while the Virtus GT Plus Sport begins at INR 17.84 lakh, both prices are ex-showroom. Alongside these, Volkswagen has also upgraded the Taigun GT Line with additional features and introduced a new Highline Plus variant to provide even more options to consumers.
The Virtus GT Line and Virtus GT Plus Sport have been eagerly anticipated since their black-themed concept was revealed at Volkswagen's Annual Brand Conference in March. Developed to highlight the dynamic and powerful characteristics of the sedan body style, these models bring a new level of excitement to the GT badge. Volkswagen aims to cater to the evolving preferences of the Indian market with these trendy and performance-oriented sedans.
Exhilarating Features and Design
The Virtus GT Line, powered by a 1.0l TSI engine, offers both automatic and manual transmission options, featuring a suite of advancements such as an Electric Sunroof, a 20.32 cm Digital Cockpit, and a 25.65 cm VW Play Touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, among others.
Volkswagen has also prioritized safety by including 6 Airbags as standard fitment, ensuring peace of mind for its customers. The exterior boasts blackened LED headlamps, a blackened front grille, and 40.6 cm R16 'Razor’ black alloy wheels, contributing to a distinctive look.
The Virtus GT Plus Sport, designed for those seeking exceptional performance and design, comes equipped with a 1.5l TSI EVO petrol engine. It features a 25.65 cm VW Play Touchscreen infotainment with an amplifier and subwoofer, Electric Front Seats, and Ventilated front seats, among other premium features. Aesthetic enhancements include a red front GT logo, blackened LED headlamps, and a dual-tone roof, offering a unique and sporty appearance.
Enhancing the Taigun GT Line and Introducing Highline Plus
In addition to launching the Virtus GT Line and Virtus GT Plus Sport, Volkswagen has upgraded the feature package for the Taigun GT Line. It now includes a 20.32 cm Digital cockpit and an Electric sunroof, further enhancing its appeal.
The introduction of the Highline Plus variant for both Taigun and Virtus, powered by the 1.0l TSI petrol engine, offers a compelling new option for customers seeking value and features, with prices starting from INR 13.87 lakh for the Virtus Highline Plus (MT).
Unique Design Personas and Enhanced Entertainment
Volkswagen India has structured its offerings across the Chrome and Sport structures, providing unique design personas for each model line. The Chrome structure offers a more sophisticated look, while the Sport structure appeals to those desiring a sporty aesthetic.
Moreover, the Taigun Topline and Virtus Topline trims now include the Digital sound package with an amplifier and subwoofer as standard, offering enriched entertainment experiences for drivers and passengers alike.
