Gearing Up For The Indian Summer Heat: Volkswagen's Free Car Check-Up Offer
Volkswagen India is set to make the summer of 2024 more bearable for car owners with its newly announced Summer Car Care campaign. Scheduled to run throughout May 2024, this initiative aims to provide Volkswagen customers with a complimentary 40-point vehicle inspection.
This service will be available across 142 Volkswagen service facilities spread across the country, ensuring that every Volkswagen is in top shape to tackle the challenges of peak Indian summer heat.

The company has also introduced a Quick seasonal car care guide, accessible on its official website, to help customers maintain their vehicles during the hot season. Additionally, Volkswagen has revised the prices of its extended warranty package, with the new rates effective from May 1, 2024.
Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, highlighted the importance of the campaign, "The sweltering summer season often leads to challenging driving situations across Indian roads. Through the Summer Car Care campaign, we would like to offer our customers a complimentary vehicle health check-up, ensuring a hassle-free driving and ownership experience."
The announcement comes on the heels of the launch of the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport. The Taigun GT Line, featuring a 1.0L TSI engine, comes with a price tag of Rs 14.08 lakh, while the Taigun GT Plus Sport is available for Rs 18.53 lakh, all prices ex-showroom.

These new SUV versions revealed at the Volkswagen Annual Brand Conference 2024 in March, boast several upgrades including smoked LED headlamps, a Carbon Steel Grey roof, and a red-finished GT badge and brake calipers.
Inside, both models feature black leatherette upholstery with red stitching, a gloss black dashboard, aluminium pedals, and GT badging on the front headrests. The sport steering wheel adorned with red stitching adds to the vehicle's sporty appeal, alongside blacked-out interior elements.
