Volkswagen India Grows Network In Kerala With Six New Touchpoints
Volkswagen India is enhancing its presence in Kerala by opening six new customer touchpoints. These include city stores in Calicut, Trivandrum, and Kochi, along with a new body shop facility in Kochi. This expansion brings Volkswagen's footprint in Kerala to 21 sales and 16 service facilities, reflecting the brand's commitment to providing premium mobility solutions.
Expansion of Sales and Service Facilities
The new city stores will feature Volkswagen India's premium product lineup, including the 5-star GNCAP safety-rated Taigun, Virtus, and the globally acclaimed Tiguan SUV. The Calicut store will display two cars, while the Trivandrum and Kochi outlets will each showcase three cars from the brand's portfolio.

New Body Shop Facility
The newly established body shop facility in Kochi is equipped with 11 service bays. It offers comprehensive services such as Express Service and full-fledged body repair facilities. This setup aims to provide efficient and high-quality service tailored to meet the needs of Volkswagen customers in the region.
Under Mr Ajit Bhaskaran's leadership as Managing Director of Pheonix Cars, two additional Sales & Service facilities have been added at Kodungallur and Palakkad over the past six months. These additions complement the new city stores in Calicut.
Leadership and Staffing
Mr Sabu Johny, Managing Director of EVM Motors, will oversee the City Stores in Kochi and Trivandrum alongside the body shop in Kochi. Together, these touchpoints will be staffed by over 110 skilled sales and service executives dedicated to ensuring a seamless customer experience.
To celebrate the upcoming festive season, Volkswagen has introduced a special Onam Edition for the Virtus and Taigun models. These editions feature Front Parking Sensors, Dual Tone Horns, Puddle Lamps, TSI Fender Badges, among other enhancements.
Volkswagen's network expansion in Kerala signifies its ongoing dedication to improving accessibility and customer experience across India. With over 200 sales facilities and more than 140 service centres nationwide, Volkswagen continues to grow amid increasing demand for premium mobility solutions in India.
