Volkswagen ID.7 Pro S Enhances Electric Journey With Long Range And Fast Charging In The UK
Long-distance electric-only journeys are becoming more convenient with the launch of the Volkswagen ID.7 Pro S Match and ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match. These new models feature an 86 kWh battery, which is larger than the 77 kWh battery found in the previous ID.7 Match versions.
The upgraded battery in the ID.7 Pro S Match models offers a WLTP pure electric range of up to 437 miles for the fastback version and 425 miles for the Tourer. Additionally, these models can be charged at up to 200 kW DC, allowing a quick top-up from 10 to 80 per cent in just 26 minutes.
Both new models maintain the same luxury and equipment levels as existing ID.7 vehicles. Features include a head-up display, Volkswagen’s latest MIB4 infotainment software with a 15-inch screen, sophisticated IQ.LIGHT Matrix headlights, three-zone air conditioning with smart vents, ergoActive heated front seats with massage functions, and privacy glass in the rear.
The ID.7 Pro S Match and ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match also provide ample boot space. The fastback offers up to 1,586 litres of storage when loaded to the roofline with the rear seats down, while the Tourer provides up to 1,714 litres under similar conditions.
These new models are now available for order from Volkswagen Retailers. The on-the-road recommended retail price (including VAT) is £55,450 for the ID.7 Pro S Match and £56,140 for the ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match.

The inclusion of ‘Pro S’ in these models introduces not only a bigger battery but also faster charging capabilities compared to their predecessors. This enhancement significantly improves their practicality for long-distance travel.
