Volkswagen's ID. Buzz 7-Seat Electric Vehicle Set For UK Premiere At CarFest 2024
The eagerly awaited Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles ID. Buzz 7-seat will make its UK debut at CarFest 2024 from 23-25 August. Attendees at the UK's largest family fundraising festival will be the first to see this longer wheelbase variant in the country. Additionally, visitors can test drive the ID. Buzz 5-seat at the on-site Test Drive Centre.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles will offer an exclusive Try Before You Buy deal for the ID. Buzz 5-seat during the three-day event at Laverstoke Park Farm, Hampshire. The Volkswagen stand, known as the Buzz Stop, has been designed by renowned artists Craig & Karl and features design elements inspired by the ID. Buzz, including a honeycomb grille.
The new ID. Buzz 7-seat model will be showcased prominently at Volkswagen's CarFest stand. Entertainment options include a live DJ, seating areas, and a children's colouring wall. Prices for this model start at £59,545 'on the road,' with deliveries expected later in 2024.
The ID. Buzz 7-seat offers flexible seating configurations for families, with five-, six-, and seven-seat options available. All rear seats come equipped with three-point safety belts and ISOFIX mountings for child seats. The second row of seats can slide and recline for added comfort, while the third row in seven-seat models is removable.
Measuring 4,962mm in length, the ID. Buzz 7-seat is 250mm longer than the standard model. This increase allows for larger sliding rear doors, making entry and exit easier for rear passengers. The vehicle provides 306 litres of space behind the third seat row, expanding to 1,340 litres behind row two and up to 2,469 litres when both rows are folded down.
The extended wheelbase accommodates an 86kWh battery that offers a WLTP range of up to 291 miles1. The Multiflex board adjustable boot floor creates a second loading level and a completely flat load area when rear seats are folded down.
Advanced Infotainment System
The latest 'Discover Pro' infotainment system in the ID. Buzz now features a larger 12.9-inch screen with improved graphics and a faster processor. These upgrades enhance user experience across all models in the ID. Buzz lineup.
