Volkswagen Unveils 2025 ID. Buzz Pricing And Range With A Glimpse Into New Interiors
Volkswagen of America, Inc. has revealed the pricing and EPA-estimated range for the ID. Buzz, an electric version of the classic Microbus. The Pro S model starts at $59,995, while the Pro S Plus is priced at $63,495. The launch-only 1st Edition will cost $65,495. Rear-wheel-drive models offer a range of 234 miles, and 4Motion all-wheel-drive models provide 231 miles.
The ID. Buzz features three unique interior colour schemes exclusive to North American models: Copper, Dune, and Moonlight. Copper offers a mid-century modern feel with brown leatherette seats and yellow piping. Dune is bright and coastal-inspired with light grey seats and clay-coloured accents. Moonlight provides a darker aesthetic with dark brown seats and blue door inserts.
The Pro S model includes standard features like 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS), and a multifunction touch steering wheel. It also offers three single-tone exterior colours: Candy White, Deep Black Pearl, and Metro Silver. Inside, customers can choose between Copper and Moonlight colour schemes.
The Pro S Plus model builds on the Pro S with additional premium content. It starts at $63,495 for rear-wheel drive and $67,995 for all-wheel drive. This model includes a head-up display projecting key information in front of the driver and an Area View system using cameras to enhance visibility around the vehicle.
For an extra $995, eight two-tone exterior options are available for the Pro S Plus model. These include combinations like Candy White top with Cabana Blue or Energetic Orange below. The interior can be customized with Moonlight, Dune, or Copper themes.
Launch-Only 1st Edition
The launch-only 1st Edition starts at $65,495 for rear-wheel drive and $69,995 for all-wheel drive. It features unique 20-inch wheels, roof rail cross bars, and special badging. The interior is coastal-inspired with heritage floor mats. This edition also includes an electrochromic panoramic glass roof that changes from transparent to opaque with a swipe.

Standard driver-assistance technology across all models includes front and rear Park Distance Control (PDC), Park Assist Plus with Memory Parking (not available in Puerto Rico), Dynamic Road Sign Display, and Light Assist.
The Pro S Plus model enhances comfort with features like Easy Open/Close dual power-sliding rear doors and tailgate for better access to the third row and cargo space. A manually-retractable tow hitch adds functionality while remaining hidden when not in use.
The ID. Buzz offers advanced technology such as Volkswagen Car-Net® with Wi-Fi capability, wireless App-Connect for phone charging, eight USB-C ports, a 12V trunk outlet, and a 150W passenger seat outlet.
