Volkswagen Showcases Its Comprehensive 2025 Model Lineup At The Los Angeles Auto Show
Volkswagen of America, Inc. is set to display its 2025 model range at the Los Angeles Auto Show, running from November 22 to December 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The lineup features mostly new or updated models for 2025. The Jetta family facelift was released in September, followed by the refreshed Taos. Updated Golf GTI and R models will debut in the U.S. at this event.
The 2025 Volkswagen Jetta and Jetta GLI combine style and value with refined features. The exterior now includes a new front bumper, wheel options, and colours for a modern look. Inside, a redesigned dashboard features an 8-inch floating infotainment display and Climatronic® Touch automatic climate control as standard across all trims.
Under the hood, the Jetta maintains its efficient 158-horsepower 1.5-litre turbocharged engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Jetta GLI also sees interior and exterior updates similar to the regular Jetta. It continues to impress with a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine producing 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
The Volkswagen Taos for 2025 showcases upgraded styling, power, and infotainment features. This compact SUV has a bold front end with a redesigned bumper, grille with light bar option, and LED projector headlights standard on all trims. Three new colours—Bright Moss Green, Monterey Blue Pearl, and Monument Gray—enhance its curb appeal.
Inside the Taos, an updated dashboard includes an 8-inch floating infotainment display and Climatronic Touch system. Sound-dampening treatments provide a quieter cabin experience. A revised 1.5-litre turbocharged engine now delivers 174 horsepower, with an eight-speed automatic transmission standard across all models.
The eighth-generation Golf GTI and Golf R continue to offer performance and technology enhancements for 2025. The Golf GTI presents new headlights, front bumper, illuminated logo, lightbar, two new colours—Alpine Silver Metallic and Slate Blue Metallic—and a bold new wheel design.
Electric Future: ID. Buzz
The ID. Buzz reimagines the classic Microbus for an electric future using MEB architecture for short overhangs and long wheelbase while incorporating advanced EV technology. All models feature a 91 kWh battery; rear-wheel-drive offers 282 horsepower while all-wheel-drive peaks at 335 horsepower.
The interior of both GTI and R models includes a freestanding 12.9-inch touchscreen with improved features across all trims such as navigation, Dynamic Road Sign Display, wireless App-Connect on base S trim along with IQ.DRIVE driver assistance technology standard throughout.

The ID. Buzz's retro-inspired styling includes an oversized VW logo complemented by vibrant two-tone exterior options alongside spacious interiors featuring three colour themes: Moonlight, Dune or Copper accommodating up to seven passengers making it ideal for families.
