VinFast Wants To Make A Fast Entry Into India: Patents Klara S Electric Scooter

VinFast soon after the recent groundbreaking ceremony for its massive manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, now secured a design patent for its Klara S electric scooter, shows VinFast’s commitment to the Indian market.

VinFast was started in June 2017, in Hanoi, Vietnam. The company has widely been known for its lineup of premium electric cars, but it also has electric scooters in its domestic market.

The Klara S, now patented in India, is an innovative scooter that offers good performance. Featuring a hub motor with 1.8kW nominal power and 3kW peak power, it promises a top speed of 78km/h. What makes it special is its battery, which has a strong capacity of 3.5kWh.

According to VinFast, the Klara S delivers an impressive range of 194km under optimal conditions. Even though it has heavier LFP batteries, with a 6-hour full recharge time. VinFast has managed to maintain a relatively lightweight construction at just 122kg.

It is outfitted with practical features like a 14-inch front wheel equipped with a telescopic fork, front and rear disc brakes, a generous 23-litre boot, and a comfortably low 760mm seat height, along with LED indicators on the front apron and circular LED headlamp.

The VinFast Klara S is set to come in 5 colour options, Pearl White, Green, Blue Violet, Bright Red, and Rough Black offering a great selection to customers. The company also offers a generous 3-year warranty without any limits on kilometres, showing Vinfast's dedication to customer satisfaction.
