Updated Hyundai Alcazar To Be Launch In India On September 9: All Details Here
Hyundai is gearing up to launch the refreshed Alcazar in India on September 9. This updated three-row SUV will continue to compete with Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus in the domestic market. The new Alcazar will feature a redesigned grille, front bumper, and side claddings, along with a fresh tailgate and tail-light design.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: What to Expect?
The mid-life refresh of the Hyundai Alcazar aims to enhance its competitiveness. Several sightings of test mules suggest unique styling tweaks that set it apart from the Creta, which also received a facelift this year. Although the split headlamp design might remain unchanged, the grille and front bumper will be distinct. Additionally, new-look alloy wheels and altered side claddings are expected.

The rear of the vehicle will showcase a completely new tailgate with a fresh tail-light design combining vertical and horizontal elements. These changes aim to give the Alcazar a more modern and appealing look.
Interior Features and Powertrain Highlights
Inside, the refreshed Alcazar will boast a dashboard similar to that of the Creta facelift, featuring a twin-screen setup and soft-touch materials. It will continue to offer both 6- and 7-seater configurations. The powertrain options remain unchanged with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 160hp and 253Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The diesel variant will also persist with its 1.5-litre engine delivering 116hp and 250Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. These engines ensure that the performance remains robust while offering flexibility in driving preferences.
Launch and Delivery Details
Deliveries for the facelifted Hyundai Alcazar are anticipated to commence by mid to late September. The pre-facelift model is priced between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom), with the facelift expected to carry a slightly higher price tag due to its enhanced features.
The updated Alcazar aims to provide an improved driving experience while maintaining its position in the competitive SUV market. With these updates, Hyundai hopes to attract more customers looking for a stylish yet practical three-row SUV.
