Maruti Suzuki, Skoda, & Mercedes-Benz To Unveil New Models In November

November is set to be a thrilling month for car enthusiasts in India, with several new vehicle launches. Maruti Suzuki, Skoda, and Mercedes-Benz are all introducing exciting models. Among these are two significant Maruti vehicles, a new Skoda SUV, and a sporty sedan from Mercedes. Let's delve into the details of each upcoming release.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

On November 4, Maruti Suzuki will reveal the production version of the eVX electric SUV in Milan, Italy. Initially showcased as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, this model is crucial for Suzuki's global strategy. A large portion of these made-in-India EVs will be exported to Europe and Japan.

Indian buyers can expect to see it at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in 2025. This marks Maruti's first fully electric vehicle, which will also inspire a Toyota variant. The eVX features a 60kWh battery offering up to 500km range and includes an AWD system. Pricing details are expected by March 2025.

Skoda Kylaq

Skoda is set to unveil the Kylaq on November 6. This sub-compact SUV represents Skoda's first venture into this segment and is built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, similar to its larger sibling, the Kushaq. To fit under four metres in length, it has a shorter wheelbase than the Kushaq but retains a family resemblance in design.

The interior is expected to be similar as well. It will feature a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine with both manual and automatic transmission options. Pricing announcements are anticipated by early 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Following the eVX launch, Maruti will introduce the new Dzire on November 11. Based on the next-generation Swift, recent spy images show that it looks distinct from its hatchback counterpart with sharper design elements and possibly an electric sunroof—a first for its segment.

The interior and equipment list are likely unchanged from previous models. It will use the same 1.2-litre Z Series petrol engine as the Swift, producing 82hp and 112Nm torque, along with a petrol-CNG option.

Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance

The new AMG C63 S E Performance from Mercedes-Benz will debut on November 12. This model replaces its V8 engine with a plug-in hybrid setup featuring a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an electric motor at the rear axle.

The combined output reaches an impressive 680hp—475hp from the engine and 203hp from the motor—and includes all-wheel drive via a nine-speed multi-clutch automatic gearbox. It also offers four-wheel steering and can travel up to 13km solely on electric power thanks to its 6.1kWh battery pack.

DriveSpark Thinks
