Enhancing EV Manufacturing: UK's DGI & India's EVage Motors Forge Partnership For Electric Trucks
DG Innovate (DGI), a leading UK-based R&D company, has announced a significant joint venture with EVage Motors, India's rapidly growing electric truck manufacturer. This partnership marks a strategic move to boost sustainable mobility and energy storage solutions.
DGI's collaboration with EVage Motors aims to expedite high-precision manufacturing processes in India, expanding its presence in the Asian market. This move will also provide EVage Motors' customers with access to the most efficient electric motor worldwide, boasting an impressive 98.5% efficiency.

The joint venture will see DGI and EVage focusing on the production of DGI's proprietary Pareta® electric drive system in Punjab, India. Targeting the Asian electric vehicle (EV) market, this collaboration promises to deliver electric trucks that are significantly more efficient.
These advancements are anticipated to offer an extended life span and lower ownership costs for fleet owners, with an estimated range increase of 5%-7% per charge. DGI will hold a 60% stake in the JV, with EVage owning the remaining 40%, showcasing both companies' commitment to the Indian market.
Adding to the venture's strength is the involvement of Pierre Pellerey, a consultant with over 15 years of experience in motor design. Pellerey's designs are behind the success of over 3 million electric vehicles, including Tesla and Dyson models. His expertise is expected to drive the JV towards achieving its goals.

The manufacturing process will be supported by EVage's innovative Modular Miniature Manufacturing (Mcube) micro-factory. This facility is notable for producing India's first indigenous commercial EV platform, currently outputting over one electric truck daily. The partnership's products are set to serve leading companies across India, including Amazon.
Peter Bardenfleth-Hansen, CEO of DGI, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting Asia, and India in particular, as pivotal markets for the EV industry. He also praised Pierre Pellerey's role in enhancing the venture with EVage.
Inderveer Singh, Founder & CEO of EVage, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the venture's alignment with Prime Minister Modi's vision for India's role in the global EV sector and the creation of high-value engineering jobs.
