TWR Supercat V12 Super-GT Unveiled: A Modern Classic Built On Jaguar XJS Foundations
The TWR Supercat, a new Super-GT, has been unveiled. Built on the Jaguar XJS, it features a supercharged V12 engine producing 660bhp and 730Nm of torque. This car offers an engaging driving experience with a six-speed manual gearbox and rear-wheel drive. Limited to just 88 units, it is available for commission worldwide.

The Supercat's design is inspired by iconic racing Jaguars like the XJR-9 and XJ220. It retains rear-wheel drive and a manual gearbox for an authentic feel. The carbon-fibre body reduces weight by 9.3% compared to the original Jaguar XJS. The car's structure is reinforced with tubular steel to handle increased power.
Inside, modern features blend with classic design elements from the Jaguar XJS. A digital multimedia interface supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The cabin includes carbon fibre-backed leather seats available in contemporary or heritage designs. An expanded luggage area replaces rear seats for practicality.
The TWR Supercat boasts advanced suspension systems for both comfort and precision driving. Double wishbone suspension with active dynamic damping ensures stability on various terrains. Drivers can adjust settings through an intuitive toggle interface for tailored experiences on road or track.
Additional features include carbon ceramic brakes and programmable traction control with five driving modes. These allow drivers to adapt dynamics according to conditions. The car's aerodynamic enhancements include splitters and reimagined flying buttresses for improved airflow.
Aerodynamic Innovations
Khyzyl Saleem led the design efforts for the Supercat's striking silhouette. His work was supported by Magnus Walker's expertise in global car culture. Together they created a vehicle that blends Jaguar XJS' legacy with bold aesthetics of a modern TWR car.
Saleem's designs underwent rigorous aerodynamic testing by a former Mercedes-Benz F1 aerodynamicist. This collaboration ensured that every line serves a performance purpose while maintaining TWR's legacy on track and road.
Global Availability
TWR is accepting commissions globally for this exclusive model starting at £225,000 excluding taxes. Orders have already been placed across various regions including Europe and Asia in both right-hand-drive and left-hand-drive configurations.
The first customer deliveries are anticipated by summer 2025 with limited build slots remaining open requiring a £35,000 deposit per order.
