Innova Hycross To Urban Cruiser Hyryder: Toyota India's Waiting Game
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced waiting periods for its various models in India. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder currently has a waiting period of around two months. However, the Innova Hycross commands the highest wait time within the brand's domestic lineup, stretching up to 14 months.
Luxury MPV and Sedan Wait Times
The flagship Vellfire MPV comes with a waiting period of around 12 months. Meanwhile, the Camry hybrid sedan has a waiting time of about one month. In India, the Camry is priced at Rs. 46.16 lakh, whereas the Vellfire costs Rs. 1.20 crore. Both models feature a 2.5L hybrid petrol engine.
Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Innova Hycross
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder is available with a choice of a 1.5L mild hybrid petrol or a 1.5L strong hybrid petrol engine. It also offers a CNG option. Pricing for the Hyryder starts at Rs. 11.14 lakh for the base variant and goes up to Rs. 20.19 lakh for the top-spec trim.
The entry-level variant of the Toyota Innova Hycross is priced at Rs. 19.77 lakh, with the top model reaching Rs. 30.98 lakh. Hybrid variants of both the Hyryder and Innova Hycross have the longest waiting periods.
Innova Hycross Booking Status
Last month, Toyota recommenced bookings for the top-of-the-line ZX and ZX (O) hybrid variants of the Innova Hycross, but has now halted them again. The hybrid VX and VX (O) variants have a waiting period of up to 14 months. Non-hybrid petrol variants have a six-month wait this month in India.
The top-spec Innova Hycross includes features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch cluster display, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, six airbags, TPMS, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and lane keep assist.
