Toyota And Lexus Introduce Three-Year SiriusXM Subscription For New Vehicles
SiriusXM has announced that Toyota is now part of its new three-year Extended Service Subscription program. This initiative allows Toyota and Lexus dealerships across the United States to offer extended subscriptions to SiriusXM’s audio entertainment services with select new vehicles. This program aims to enhance the value provided to new-vehicle buyers by expanding the features available through Toyota and Lexus Connected Services.
Participating dealerships can now include the cost of a three-year SiriusXM subscription in the purchase or lease price of new models equipped with the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia and Lexus Interface. Vehicles not opting for this extended subscription will continue to offer a standard three-month trial. Jessamine Merrill, general manager of Connected Technologies at Toyota Motor North America, stated, "We are pleased to offer the new three-year SiriusXM subscription option as another enhancement for Toyota and Lexus drivers during their journeys."

This new subscription model provides more flexibility in payment options for both dealers and customers. Gail Berger, senior vice president and general manager of Automotive Partnerships at SiriusXM, expressed excitement about expanding their longstanding relationship with Toyota and Lexus. "Toyota and Lexus have offered SiriusXM capability as a standard feature for several years, and we’re thrilled to expand upon our longstanding relationship by enabling their dealerships nationwide to participate in our new three-year Extended Service Subscription program," said Berger.
The Extended Service Subscriptions are governed by terms outlined in SiriusXM’s Customer Agreement and Toyota’s Connected Services Terms of Use. These subscriptions do not automatically renew and will end either at the conclusion of the subscription term or upon the sale or transfer of the vehicle. They are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash or credit, and not eligible for refunds.
SiriusXM offers a wide range of audio programming, including music, sports, news, and entertainment. With over 20 years of experience in-vehicle audio systems, SiriusXM provides a premium listening experience tailored to each infotainment system. The three-year Extended Service Subscription also grants access to SiriusXM content via the app, allowing users to enjoy even more programming on various devices.
Subscribers benefit from continuous updates and new features both in the app and over-the-air in newer vehicles. This ensures an ever-improving experience for listeners. The service includes hundreds of channels with exclusive content that caters to diverse tastes across the United States.
