Toyota Innova Hycross ZX(O) Bookings Re-open In India With A Price Hike – Check Out All The Details Here
Toyota has reopened bookings for its Innova Hycross ZX and ZX (O) variants in India. This update follows a temporary suspension of bookings in April last year, attributed to supply chain challenges.
Adding to the buzz, Toyota has announced a price adjustment for these hybrid variants, with the revisions taking effect from April 1, 2024. The revised pricing sees the top-of-the-line ZX (O) variant now commanding a price tag of Rs 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom).

This adjustment represents a 1% increase across the hybrid versions of the Innova Hycross, making the price range for these models span from Rs 25.97 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom).
For context, the non-hybrid variants remain within the bracket of Rs 19.77-19.82 lakh, ex-showroom India. Despite the halt in bookings and the subsequent price hike, the demand for the Innova Hycross, particularly its high-spec hybrid models, has remained strong.

According to dealer insights, production of the ZX (O) variant continued albeit at a reduced pace, allowing for the fulfilment of existing orders albeit with delays. This comes after Toyota prioritized the top-spec hybrid variants for deliveries upon the Hycross's introduction in January last year.
The Innova Hycross stands out for its powertrain options. Customers can choose between a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 171.5bhp and 209Nm, and a more potent 2.0-litre, four-cylinder strong-hybrid powertrain, generating 182bhp and paired with an e-Drive transmission.

Toyota is also gearing up to expand the Innova Hycross lineup with a new non-hybrid GX (O) variant. This upcoming model will be available in both seven- and eight-seat configurations, featuring enhancements over the GX variant.
These include LED fog lamps, rear window demister, auto climate control, rear automatic blower control, dual-tone seats, soft-touch dashboard, and a 360-degree camera. Additionally, the 7-seater version will exclusively offer a rear retractable sunshade and a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay.
