Toyota Innova Hycross GX(O) Launched In India At Rs 20.99 Lakh: All Details Here
The Toyota Innova Hycross petrol lineup has recently been expanded with the introduction of a new top-spec GX (O) variant. This variant, which is now the range-topper for the Hycross petrol models, comes with a price tag ranging from Rs 20.99 lakh to Rs 21.13 lakh (all prices in ex-showroom).
Apart from that, the newly introduced Toyota Innova Hycross is offered in both seven and eight-seater configurations, catering to the diverse needs of Indian buyers. With this launch, Toyota has followed through on earlier reports about introducing a new top-spec trim to its Hycross petrol variant.

The GX (O) variant is approximately Rs 1 lakh more expensive than the GX variant but compensates with a slew of additional features. Among these are front LED fog lights, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and a rear defogger.
The interior also sees upgrades with a new chestnut theme, soft-touch materials on the dash and doors, and new fabric seat covers. Comfort has been enhanced with the inclusion of automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay.

However, it's noteworthy that the 8-seater version of the GX (O) lacks the 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a retractable rear sunshade found in the 7-seater variant. This results in a Rs 14,000 price difference between the two, with the 7-seater variant priced higher at Rs 21.13 lakh (ex-showroom).
The GX (O) variant is available in seven exterior finishes, offering a variety of choices to potential buyers. These finishes include Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Super White, and Avant Garde Bronze Metallic.

Under the hood, the GX (O) houses the same 174bhp, 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with a CVT gearbox, boasting a fuel efficiency of 16.13kpl. While it stands without a direct rival in the petrol MPV segment, it does face competition from seven-seater SUVs like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar. The hybrid version, on the other hand, competes more closely with the Maruti Suzuki Invicto, a badge-engineered sibling.

Deliveries for the new variant are set to commence today, marking a new chapter for Toyota's petrol-powered MPV. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi. This addition is expected to strengthen Toyota's position in the competitive MPV and SUV segments, offering a more feature-rich option to its customers.
