Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ Launched At Rs 21.39 Lakh: Luxury At Competitive Prices
Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently launched the Innova Crysta GX+ at Rs 21.39 lakh (ex-showroom), a new variant that bridges the gap between the existing GX and VX models. This new G+ variant brings an array of enhancements over its predecessor.
What Sets The Innova Crysta GX+ Apart?
The newly introduced GX+ variant boasts a suite of upgrades that significantly elevate the driving and passenger experience. Among these additions are a rear camera, dash cam, auto-fold mirrors, diamond-cut alloy wheels, wooden panel inserts, and premium fabric seats.
Toyota has incorporated a total of 14 new features into the GX+ model, distinguishing it from the lower GX variant. Available in both seven- and eight-seat configurations, the GX+ is priced at Rs 21.39 lakh and Rs 21.44 lakh respectively, marking a Rs 1.40-1.45 lakh increase over the GX variant.
No alterations have been made to the powertrain, with Toyota maintaining the robust 2.4-litre diesel engine that delivers 148bhp and 343Nm of torque. This engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox, providing a smooth and responsive driving experience.
The Innova Crysta's price range starts at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 26.30 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it just below the more recently launched Innova Hycross in Toyota's lineup.
While the Innova Crysta does not face direct competition in the Indian market, it does go up against vehicles like the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo, both of which offer unique features and benefits to potential buyers.
