Toyota Showcases Diverse Adventure Vehicles And Accessories At SEMA 2024
Toyota is showcasing its diverse range of vehicles at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show 2024. The exhibit, located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, features a variety of models enhanced with lifestyle features from Toyota's Associated Accessory Products (AAP) portfolio. Mike Tripp, group vice president of Toyota Division Marketing, stated, "We are passionate about assembling vehicles that fuel and support the lifestyle interests of our customers."
The display is organised into different sections that highlight Toyota's versatility in off-roading, overlanding, camping, tailgating, performance, and track experiences. Each area showcases Toyota's capabilities through unique vehicle builds and new accessory displays. A notable entry in this year's SEMA New Product Showcase is the TRD Forged Billet Upper Control Arm Kit for specific Toyota models.
Toyota has introduced several concept vehicles at SEMA 2024. The 4Runner TRD Surf Concept pays homage to Southern California’s surf culture with its stylish design and removable top. The CALTY Land Cruiser ROX merges heritage with modern design for open-air adventures. The GR86 Rally Legacy Concept combines nostalgia with performance by blending GR86 bodywork with a GR Corolla powertrain.
The Ultimate Tailgate Tundra transforms into an entertainment hub with five large TV screens and a spacious canopy. Inspired by the Dakar Rally, the RAV-X Concept is designed for off-road enthusiasts. The Suprabird Tribute honours NASCAR legend Richard Petty with a custom body kit and Petty Blue livery.
The #84 Tacoma TRD ProRunner Race Concept was developed in collaboration with Jimmie Johnson to celebrate Tacoma’s Baja racing legacy. It features desert-conquering race elements wrapped in a rugged exterior. The Classic Adventure Cruiser showcases Toyota’s engineering excellence with a full lift and iconic wheels.
Another standout is the ’94 Toyota Drift Truck, which combines American minitruck culture with Japan’s drift scene in a vibrant hot pink design. Modellista Overland Vision Concept enhances the Land Cruiser with sophisticated styling that blends function and form seamlessly.
Toyota Accessories Portfolio
Toyota's Genuine Accessories are engineered to enhance performance and style for each model. The company is expanding its AAP portfolio with approved partner products that adorn many vehicles on display at SEMA 2024. These accessories reflect Toyota's commitment to performance and lifestyle adventure.
The TRD Forged Billet Upper Control Arm Kit offers enhanced strength and durability for select models. Made from forged aluminum, it features a racing-inspired design with TRD red anodizing and replaces factory components using existing ball joints and bushings.
