The newly launched BMW i5 electric sedan is available in the top-spec i5 M60 xDrive trim and will be brought to India as a CBU model. As a result, the new BMW i5 M60 xDrive costs Rs 1.20 Crore (ex-showroom, India).

Colours
In India, the newly launched BMW i5 M60 xDrive electric sedan is available in 10 shades. These colour options include Alpine White (non-metallic), M Brooklyn Grey, M Carbon Black, Cape York Green, Phytonic Blue, Black Sapphire, Sophiosto Grey, Oxide Grey and Mineral White.
Features
The new BMW i5 M60 xDrive electric sedan comes equipped with many features. However, some of the stand-out features in the new BMW i5 M60 xDrive include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 14.9-inch infotainment, 15-colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, B&W audio system and more.

Powertrain
The new BMW i5 M60 xDrive electric sedan is powered by an 83.9kWh battery pack. However, only 81.2kWh has been made usable to protect the battery pack. Moreover, the WLTP range of the model stands at 516km.
This battery pack in the BMW i5 M60 xDrive electric sedan drives two electric motors to produce a total of 600bhp and 820Nm of torque. As a result, the model can accelerate to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds. Also, the top speed of the model stands at 230km/h.

Charging & Warranty
BMW offers a complimentary 11KW wall charger as standard, however, a 22kW AC charger can be availed as an optional extra. Moreover, the model is compatible with a 205kW DC charger. Using the latter, the model can charge from 10-80% in 30 minutes.
BMW is also offering an exceptional warranty with the new i5 M60 xDrive electric sedan. As standard, the model comes with 2 2-year / unlimited kilometre warranty, but the battery comes with 8-year / 1.6 lakh km warranty.
