Tolman Releases New Mille Laghi Wheel Inspired By T16 For Peugeot 205
The UK-based specialist, Tolman, has introduced the Mille Laghi 15" wheels inspired by the T16 design. These wheels are crafted from 6082 T6 aluminium alloy, offering high strength and corrosion resistance. They are one kilogram lighter and 20% stronger than the standard options for Peugeot 205 and 309 models. Prices start at £1200 each, excluding VAT.
By increasing the wheel diameter to 15 inches, Peugeot 205/309 GTi enthusiasts can now choose from a wider range of high-performance tyres compared to the standard 14-inch rims. The ET19 offset maintains compatibility while enhancing performance. The larger size also fills out the arches of the GTi models, adding a stylish twist to these classic hot hatches.
Tolman’s precision machining ensures that these wheels are less prone to vibration and produce less road noise. This results in improved performance and refinement for drivers. The wheels are available in Titanium silver as standard, with other colours offered upon request.
Tolman has expanded its web shop to include a variety of bespoke tuning parts and accessories for modern classic cars. New offerings include a big brake kit, CNC-formed brake line kits for both left-hand drive (LHD) and right-hand drive (RHD) vehicles, a high-torque starter motor, a custom exhaust system for the Peugeot 205 GTi, and an ECU upgrade.
The Mille Laghi wheels are produced using advanced simulation techniques to ensure they meet high standards of strength and durability. The use of 6082 T6 aluminium billet makes them significantly more resistant to corrosion compared to factory rims.
