Tata Safari Pure Variant Receives Notable Feature Adjustments: All Details Here
The Tata Safari SUV's Pure variant has experienced a reduction in features. Tata Motors has adjusted the feature set of its premium SUV, the Safari. While some features have been removed, others have been added. Despite these changes, the pricing for this premium SUV remains constant, ranging from ₹15.49 lakh to ₹25.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
The base model of the Tata Safari range is the Smart variant. At the entry-level, it includes Smart and Smart (O) trims. Other variants include Pure, Pure (O), Pure +, and Pure + S trims. According to a sources, modifications have been made to the Pure, Pure +, and Pure + S variants.

Changes in Features for Tata Safari's Pure Variants
The Tata Safari's Pure variants no longer include several features. These missing elements are AC vents for third-row passengers, armrests, spare wheels, roof lights for second and third-row passengers, tyre pressure monitoring systems, and LED lights. Additionally, a manual IRVM replaces the previously available auto-dimming IRVM unit.
Despite losing some features, new additions have been made to the Pure trims of the SUV. The vehicle now includes a shark-fin antenna, reverse parking camera, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Even with these updates, the pricing for Tata Safari's Pure variants remains unchanged at ₹16.99 lakh to ₹18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Engine Specifications of Tata Safari
The Tata Safari SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. It offers transmission options of a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit. This engine delivers 168bhp and 350Nm of maximum torque. The SUV is also anticipated to receive Tata Motors' 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine.
The Pure trims have traditionally been considered value-for-money options within the Safari lineup. However, with key comfort and convenience features removed, these trims may no longer appeal as much to customers seeking such amenities. Those desiring more features might consider higher trims at an additional cost.
