Tata Punch Revamps Lineup: Now Available In 8 Trims
Tata Motors has revamped the Tata Punch lineup, now offering eight trims, the majority of which come with AMT CNG options. Notably, the mid-range Adventure and Adventure Rhythm trims have been discontinued.While these trims were previously available in manual, AMT, and CNG variants, their removal leaves the compact SUV with a total of eight options. It's worth mentioning that the newly launched Punch Camo, a limited festive edition, is not included in this count.

The Tata Punch is now available in 19 different variants. The petrol version comes in eight variants, while there are six AMT and five CNG variants. Prices for these variants remain unchanged from the last update, starting at Rs 6.13 lakh and going up to Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom in India.

Tata Punch Engine Options and Competitors
The smallest SUV from Tata features an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission across eight variants. Additionally, six variants offer a 5-speed AMT option, while five come equipped with a factory-fitted CNG kit delivering 73.4hp.
The removal of the Adventure and Adventure Rhythm trims results in a Rs 90,000 price gap between Pure (O) and Adventure S trims. However, Adventure S offers more features like a sunroof, auto headlights, wipers, and a 3.5-inch infotainment screen.
The Tata Punch stands out in the crowded Indian market by competing effectively with notable models such as the Hyundai Exter, Citroen C3, and Maruti Ignis.
With price brackets ranging from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.43 lakh for the Exter, Rs 6.16 lakh to Rs 10.27 lakh for the C3, and Rs 5.84 lakh to Rs 8.06 lakh for the Ignis, the Tata Punch offers a compelling value proposition.
