Tata Nexon & Nexon EV Dark Editions Launched In India – Prices Start At Rs 11.45 Lakh

Tata Motors has launched the much-awaited Tata Nexon Dark Edition and the Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition SUVs in India. Prices for the Tata Nexon Dark edition starts at Rs 11.45 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Tata Nexon EV Dark edition prices start at Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

That being said, the newly launched Tata Nexon Dark Edition is available in Creative and Fearless trim levels (mid-spec, and tops-spec, respectively). Furthermore, it is also worth mentioning that the Nexon Dark Edition demands a premium of Rs 35,000 over standard models.

Some of the noticeable features of the Tata Nexon Dark Edition include a wireless charging pad, a hidden capacitive touch panel for automatic climate control, black leatherette seats, and much more.

Staying true to its name, the Tata Nexon Dark Edition ditches the standard Nexon's dual-tone interior for a more sporty-looking all-black theme. The model also sports a few 'Dark' badges all over the cabin as well.

All the above changes are also applicable to the Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition. Moreover, this model is based on the top-spec Empowered+ trim. As such, the model comes equipped with the bigger 40.5kWh battery pack and the more powerful 145bhp electric motor with 215Nm of torque.

Thanks to this powertrain setup, new EV buyers need not have to worry about the range. In fact, the Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition can travel as far as 465km on a single fully charged battery pack, according to ARAI.

Harrier and Safari Dark Editions

Tata Motors had previously launched the Dark Editions of the Harrier and Safari SUVs in India. These models have been available since October 2023. So far, Tata Motors hasn't updated the pricing.

As such, the Tata Harrier Dark Edition and Tata Safari Dark Edition models offer tremendous value for money. Pricing-wise, the Tata Harrier Dark Edition prices start at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the Tata Safari Dark Edition prices start at Rs 20.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
