Tata Nexon iCNG SUV Launched In India At Rs 8.99 Lakh
Tata Motors has launched the much awaited Tata Nexon iCNG in India with a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This launch is complemented by improvements to both the electric vehicle (EV) iteration and the visually striking Dark variants, ensuring there's something for every preference.
The new Tata Nexon iCNG will be available in 8 different variants, offering a wide range of options to meet various customer preferences. Furthermore, the model also boasts dual-cylinder technology, enabling a practical boot space of 321 litres.
Powering the Nexon iCNG is a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine, now adapted to deliver a robust 100hp and 170Nm of torque while being mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The introduction of the Nexon iCNG is complemented by a suite of features aimed at enhancing safety, comfort, and convenience. Among these, the inclusion of six airbags, ESP, a large panoramic sunroof, and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with navigation display stands out, highlighting Tata Motors' emphasis on a comprehensive driving experience.

In parallel, Tata Motors has expanded its Dark Edition lineup with the introduction of the Red Dark variant for the Nexon. This new addition follows the success of Dark Editions across other models, such as the Harrier and Safari, offering a bolder and more distinctive aesthetic.
The Red Dark variant is designed to capture attention with its flamboyant appearance and updated interior, marking another step in Tata's efforts to cater to diverse customer tastes.
The Nexon EV also receives significant updates, most notably the inclusion of a larger 45 kWh battery pack. This enhancement pushes the EV's claimed range to 489 km, with a real-world range estimated between 350-370 km, signaling a substantial improvement in performance. With a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakh, ex-showroom, the updated Nexon EV represents Tata Motors' ongoing commitment to advancing electric mobility in the Indian market.
