Tata Motors Introduces Zero-Emission Tata Ultra EV 7M At Prawaas 4.0

Tata Motors, India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, showcased a variety of advanced mass mobility solutions at Prawaas 4.0. This three-day biennial event focuses on safe, smart, and sustainable integrated mass mobility solutions. The highlight was the unveiling of the Tata Ultra EV 7M, a zero-emission electric bus designed for urban mass mobility.

The Tata Ultra EV 7M is equipped with a 213kW electric motor and an IP67-rated 200kWh Li-ion battery. It offers a range of up to 160 km on a single charge and supports fast charging, achieving full charge in just 2.5 hours. The bus features comfortable seating for 21 passengers and is ideal for navigating narrow lanes and high-traffic urban areas due to its easy manoeuvrability and compact dimensions.

Innovative Passenger Transport Solutions

In addition to the Ultra EV 7M, Tata Motors displayed several other passenger transport solutions at Prawaas 4.0. These included the Tata Magna EV, Tata Magic Bi-fuel, Tata Ultra Prime CNG, Tata Winger 9S, Tata CityRide Prime, and Tata LPO 1822. Each model is designed to offer customised solutions for various applications and duty cycles.

The Ultra EV 7M also incorporates advanced safety features such as an electronic braking system and electronic stability control. It includes an Automatic Passenger Counter and adheres to high safety standards with its Intelligent Transport System (ITS). Regenerative braking technology further enhances its efficiency and range.
