Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024: Tata Motors Showcase Curvv & Nexon i-CNG Concept Cars
Tata Motors is all geared up to dazzle attendees with its futuristic vision at the forthcoming 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Anticipation is building for the unveiling of some of their most avant-garde concept models, including the Tata Curvv and Nexon i-CNG Concept.
The Bharat Mobility Global Expo, set to commence today at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, will see a wide array of automobile companies converge. They will be showcasing their latest vehicles, setting the stage for automobile industry insiders to immerse themselves in a world of automotive wonders.
The buzz surrounding Tata's participation is palpable. The company is expected to pull the covers off various concept vehicles that hint at Tata's roadmap for upcoming releases. These concept vehicles have been the subject of much speculation and anticipation among auto enthusiasts keen to catch a glimpse of the future.
Tata has prepared an impressive lineup, which includes the Tata Curvv Concept, Nexon EV Dark Showcar, Exam i-CNG Concept, Safari Dark Concept, Ultraz Racer Concept, Punch EV, and the Harrier EV Concept. Additionally, Tata plans to feature their advancements in safety technology to the crowd.
The showcase of the Tata Curvv is expected to be one of the highlights, hinting at the imminent release of a compression engine variant. Changes are anticipated from the iteration previously on display, giving the audience a taste of its potential 'protection’ version style.

Alongside Curvv, the electric iteration of the Tata Harrier is slated for an appearance. Expected to hit the markets later in the year, the Harrier EV is generating significant buzz. For the first time, Tata's Nexon will also present its Prototypes i-CNG and the Dark Edition.
Speculation abounds that the Tata Curvv will boast a more domineering presence with beefier cladding and unique bodywork that diverges from its former variant. The design change carries through to the front with sleeker DRLs anticipated. Tata’s signature LED lighting, featuring a distinct triangular headlamp design, will likely bedeck the Curve.
Under the hood, the Curvv is rumoured to house a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 114bhp and 260 Nm of torque. Paired with a 6-speed gearbox, it leaves fans wondering if the engine option will remain unchanged in the protection version or if there will be new additions.

As for the Harrier EV, expectations are set high for it to be showcased as an electrifying 5-seater SUV, possessing potentially an all-wheel-drive system with dual electric motors. The Curvv EV and Harrier EV are foreseen to boast ranges up to 500 km on a single charge, positioning them as competitors in the long-range EV domain.
Both vehicles are also expected to be compatible with DC fast chargers and include Vehicle-to-Load function for added convenience. Their construction is based on the acclaimed Attila.EV platform, which also underpins the recently launched Punch EV
