Tata Altroz Racer: Dealerships Now Getting The Car
Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the Altroz Racer, a direct competitor to the Hyundai i20 N Line. The debut is set for 7th June, and dealership dispatches have started. Pricing will be revealed on the launch date.
Colour Options and Variants
The Altroz Racer offers three exclusive dual-tone colour options: Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey. Each comes with sporty racing stripes on the bonnet and roof. The Atomic Orange variant is particularly striking, while the other two options cater to more subdued tastes.

Buyers can choose from three variants: R1, R2, and R3. Each variant aims to appeal to a broad segment of users, with the R1 offering a comprehensive range of features, and the R2 and R3 adding more advanced equipment.
Interior and Features
The Altroz Racer’s interior sports an all-black theme with red and white accents. Ambient lighting enhances the cabin experience. The base R1 variant includes projector headlamps, LED DRLs, front fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, and more. It also features a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, a 4-inch digital instrument cluster, and fully automatic temperature control.
Advanced Features in Higher Variants
The R2 variant adds a wireless charger, voice-activated sunroof, 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, 360° surround view system, and blind view monitor. The top-spec R3 variant offers an air purifier, front ventilated seats, and the iRA connected car platform.
Performance
The Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, delivering 120 PS and 170 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Hyundai i20 N Line, its main competitor, features a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with 120 PS and 172 Nm, available with a 6-speed MT and 7-speed DCT.
