Tata Curvv SUV Starts Reaching Dealership Ahead Of Its Launch In India
The Tata CURVV is set to debut on August 7 in its electric version, with petrol and diesel variants following about a month later. This coupe SUV will be the second 'affordable' option in this segment after the Citroen Basalt.
Traditionally, this body style has been reserved for high-end premium vehicles, but Tata Motors aims to bring it to the mass market. Positioned between the Nexon and Harrier, the CURVV promises a distinctive road presence.

This video comes from boby g on YouTube. It shows the coupe SUV, covered in camouflage, entering what appears to be a dealership stockyard. The rear section of the vehicle is visible in the clip, featuring connected LED taillamps spanning the bootlid's width, a silver skid plate. Additionally, it has squarish wheel arches, black side pillars, side skirting, and rugged alloy wheels, giving it an imposing and futuristic appearance.
Tata CURVV: Interior Features
The interior of the CURVV will also be modern and feature-rich. Expect a large touchscreen infotainment display, a digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel with illumination function, a new HVAC control panel, wireless charging capabilities, and possibly ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
A 360-degree camera might also be included. Buyers will have options between electric, petrol, and diesel variants. For internal combustion engine (ICE) versions, both manual and automatic transmissions will be available.
Ensuring relevance in the EV world is crucial for Tata Motors. Hence, they are launching the electric version first. In India, the CURVV will sit above the popular Nexon but below the Harrier in Tata's lineup.

It will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. However, its coupe silhouette sets it apart from these rivals. The unique design is expected to attract many buyers.
Market Positioning
The CURVV aims to offer mass-market buyers an experience previously reserved for premium vehicles. Its positioning between Nexon and Harrier ensures it fills a gap in Tata's lineup while offering something unique with its coupe design.

As we await more details at the launch event on August 7th for its electric variant followed by petrol and diesel versions later on, it's clear that Tata Motors is making significant strides in bringing innovative designs to broader audiences.
