Tata Curvv SUV Spotted In Red: A Glimpse Into Its Future

Tata is set to launch its new Curvv SUV in the coming weeks. The vehicle has already been spotted on the road without any camouflage, with several images and videos circulating online. The Curve. EV will debut on August 7, followed by the ICE version. Recently, a new image of the Tata Curvv in a striking red shade has surfaced.

The images were shared by VJ Negi on Instagram, showing the Tata Curvv parked in an open location without any camouflage. Although clear pictures were not possible due to staff restrictions, we still get a glimpse of what the SUV offers.

Striking Exterior Design

The Tata Curvv's side, rear, front, and wide-opening doors are visible in the images. The red shade gives the SUV a sporty appeal. It features a connecting LED bar at the front, which Tata calls a welcome LED bar. These lights meet dual-function LED DRLs, while projector LED headlamps are placed on the bumper.

The SUV also sports dual-tone alloy wheels with a flower-petal-like design. Gloss black cladding around the wheel arches and bumpers adds to its rugged look. A faux skid plate underneath enhances its off-road appeal. The sloping roof, split integrated spoiler, sleek LED tail lamps, and connecting LED bar complete the exterior design.

Interior Features and Technology

While interior images are not available, it is expected that the Curvv will feature perforated leatherette upholstery and ventilated front seats. A large touchscreen infotainment system typical of recent Tata cars will be included, along with a fully digital instrument cluster.

Tata will offer features like a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, automatic climate control, and more. Higher variants may include an electrically adjustable driver seat for added convenience.

Engine Options

The Tata Curvv will come with three engine choices: two petrol options and one diesel engine. A 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine will be available with manual and DCT gearbox options. The diesel engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit likely offered with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Additionally, Tata will introduce a new 1.2-litre T-GDI petrol engine for the Curvv. This engine is also expected to come with manual and automatic transmission options.

Market Positioning

The Tata Curvv will compete against SUVs like the Hyundai Creta in its segment. It will be positioned between Tata's Nexon and Harrier models. The electric version of the Curvv will offer two battery pack options and will be placed between Nexon. EV and the upcoming Harrier. ev.

Both petrol engines are similar to those found in the Tata Nexon model. This strategic positioning aims to capture a significant market share in both ICE and electric SUV segments. The anticipation for Tata's new offering continues to build as more details emerge ahead of its official launch date next month.
