Tata Curvv ICE Version Spotted Testing – Likely To Be Launched Around The Festive Season
The Tata Curvv SUV has been spotted testing yet again. This time the ICE version of the Tata Curvv SUV has been spotted testing. Moreover, the model seems to have already attained the final production form.
As such, we expect Tata Motors to launch the ICE and electric versions of the Tata Curvv SUV around the upcoming festive season in the country. Also, it wouldn't be surprising if Tata Motors decides to launch both the ICE and EV iterations together.
Speaking about the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV, the model will compete against the likes of C-segment SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Citroen C3 Aircross and the upcoming Citroen Basalt.
When it comes to powertrain, the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV is expected to be powered by a new 1.2-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with around 125bhp and 225Nm of peak torque. Gearbox options are likely to include a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed DCT unit.
Features-wise, the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV is expected to come with features that are on par with its main rivals. We expect features such as a fully digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless charger, head-up display, and ventilated seats to be highlights of the model.
Given most of the C-segment SUVs come equipped with a large panoramic sunroof, we also expect the Tata Curvv SUV to come equipped with this feature. Also, the Tata Curvv SUV could even come with ADAS tech with features similar to the one in the new Harrier and Safari SUVs.
Apart from these features, expect the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV to come equipped with all-LED exterior lighting, a cooled glove box, leatherette seats, rear AC vents, a powered driver's seat, auto headlamps, auto wiper, and a few more.
Like many modern cars from Tata Motors, we expect the upcoming Tata Curvv SUV to score a perfect 5-Star safety rating. Also, we expect the Tata Curvv to attract the attention of many potential buyers in the segment, thanks to its unique coupe-like styling.
